Water skiing is one of the most exciting water sports, but beyond adrenaline, there are a number of wonderful health benefits when practicing water skiing as a hobby.

Holding on to a piece of rope attached to a boat that goes up to 40 mph can really work and strengthen your muscles. In the camp it is excellent to overcome fears, achieve new goals and do it better and better.

Wakeboarding is a water sport in which the camper, standing on a wakeboard, is towed behind the boat through its wake and especially off the ridge for aerial maneuvers.

Improves flexibility in hands and feet, as wakeboarding requires an agile approach.

Improves reaction times and versatility, with sudden changes in direction and position required. Develop hand-eye coordination with the driver needs to stay balanced and focused.

The shooting range consists of different objects and targets for the practice of shooting with air rifles. In each practice the goal is to improve this ability.

Tubing is a super fun activity in which the camper rides on top of an inflatable over the water and is towed behind a speedboat. Up to 4 campers can ride.

Paintball is a competitive team shooting sport in which players eliminate opponents from the game by hitting them with dye-filled spherical gelatin capsules. In the camp we have a super court with ideal obstacles for the best contest.

They are surf-like boards and the activity is to stand and stay up while rowing with a single paddle. It is ideal for balancing, strengthening the muscles of the whole body, especially the arms. Campers enjoy themselves in the lagoon, cooling off as they paddle and chat.

Kneeboard is a water sport in which the pilot, kneeling on a kneeboard, is towed behind a boat through its wake and especially off the ridge for aerial maneuvers. Campers kneel on their heels on the board and secure themselves with an adjustable Velcro strap over their thighs.

Guaikinima’s paint war is epic!! Some campers have already lived it and look forward to it, the new campers are surprised and between counselors and campers, the war consists of taking marshmallows that are in a bucket full of paint and throwing it at each other. With music and running, everybody ends up full of paint and jumps into the lake to get the paint off.

Ga-ga-ga is a variant of dodgeball that is played on a ga-ga-ga court. The game combines dodge, hit, run and jump, with the objective of being the last person standing. Players hit the ball with their hands and are eliminated if the ball hits them at or below the waist.

In Guaikinima we prepare the most incredible campfires with surprise effects so that campers and guides connect with the wonders of fire. We sing around the campfire and expressed feelings and camp chants. Guaikinima’s bonfires are the best!

Guaikinima discos are the best! Every week the counselors prepare a themed disco that surprises everyone with their lights, costumes, decoration, and with the best music of the great BENA.

It is one of everyone’s favorite activities in the camp, not only for how exciting it is but for all the learning that the campers, and also their parents, do. Among the things they learn are; fear management, self-esteem, taking challenges and achieving goals, learning from everything they are able to do, get out of their comfort zone.

It’s an activity loved by small and big people. It consists of a story that lasts the whole season, directed by the guide where the campers are the protagonists of the story. The story unfolds in the medieval era and the characters of the tale are Nomos, Wizards, Warriors, Sorcerers, etc. each with some power, and the campers choose their character and their power. Each story has a goal, for example to rescue the sacred scroll or the rescue of the princess. The story begins and, on the way, the counselor places obstacles that campers have to solve with strategies, for example, having to cross a river with a very strong current, or full of piranhas, or… by agreeing on one strategy, through rock, paper or scissors, it is decided whether they can use said strategy or they should use another.

At the end of the season, a moment is chosen in which all the cabins, at the same time, are in the last chapter.

The girls in the camp like to dance and with their counselors, they do choreography that they then present at the Guaikishow. The boys, in turn, do theater.

 In the camp’s kitchen, campers prepare dishes that teach them how to organize, handle ingredients and use utensils. They like to make arepas, pizzas, cookies, pancakes, etc. Under the supervision of our counselors.

Hell’s Revenge is Guaikinima’s obstacle race. Counselors build the best obstacles for the race. Everyone runs and passes every obstacle, climbing levels, jumping down to get off a platform, crawling through mud pools, etc. In the end they all win for having lived the best extreme experience!!!

Capturing the flag is a traditional outdoor game in which two teams have a flag and the goal is to capture the other team’s flag, located at the team’s “base,” and safely takes it to their own base.

Canoe is one of the popular activities on the lake where campers learn to row, to know the canoe well, how it turns and straightens, different ways of rowing and when to use them. How to carry luggage in the canoe. In the lake we have a super time playing many games that we prepared for all the campers. Always following the safety measures that the activity requires.

The Blob is a giant inflatable mattress on the lake which has a platform to climb and consists on a camper jumping to the Blob, then moving towards the tip and waiting for another camper to jump himself into the blob, when he falls, the camper at the tip shoots into the air and falls on the lake. It’s super fun!!!

In both sleepaway and day camps, we give importance to the development of creativity, that campers discover that artistic vein that we all have. It is ideal for campers to enjoy a quiet moment, in the shade, to talk, express their creativity and create something to take home. Campers carry out different projects: tie dye, dream catchers, bracelets, bookmakers, banners, photo frames, etc.

Archery is the sport, practice or ability to use a bow to shoot arrows. It’s a competitive sport where the goal is to aim at the yellow circle.

Archery Tag is a sport similar to dodgeball, paintball or The Nerf War that is played with bows and arrows with foam tips.

An adventure experience in the camp is to go camping. They go out by cabin to the countryside, in nature, take their tents, their sleeping bags, pillows and clothes for changing. The camp’s logistics team carries the necessary equipment; food and everything needed to prepare dinner and breakfast. Counselors and campers put together the tents, prepare the food, spend a special night looking at the stars, they sleep happily and before returning to the camp, make sure to leave everything picked up and in order.

Sleepaway Camp: We offer horseback riding through the woods, around the camp. Always under the supervision of Blue Moon Ranch’s staff. A horse will be assign to each camper. This activity offers safe and friendly options suitable for all levels of experience. Our program can accommodate every level of rider, from first-timers to advanced equestrians.

Tree Tops Park Day Camp: We offer horseback riding once a week. We assign a horse to each camper, make a round each accompanied by a counselor. 

In Guaikinima we are sports fans; games are set for playing soccer, volleyball, basketball and dodgeball. In each of our sleepaway and day camp venues, we have a soccer field; in the sleepaway we have volleyball court and gymnasium with basketball and multiple indoor sports. At our day camp venue in Virginia key, we also have a volleyball court.
