Day Camp

Daily program of activities for children between 4 and 12 years oriented to entertain and be in contact with nature where the child can discover the natural scenario while learning new skills in addition to the values and philosophy of Guaikinima.

  • 3 available locations: Oleta River State Park, Historic Virginia Key Beach Park and Southwest Ranches (Broward)
  • Activities very similar to the Sleepaway Camp program, adapted to the camper’s age and physical capacity.
  • It takes place in weekly blocks from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
  • Different logistics and transportation options for the best enjoyment and safety of children.

  • PRICES AND DATES:
    • Price per week: $345 per week
    • Dates: From June 8th to August 7th.
    • Extended care available per week, from 4pm. to 5:30pm. $45 per week.
  • DISCOUNTS:
    • Brothers of registered campers Receive discounts!
    • The discount applies to the siblings of a registered camper
    • Discount 1 week, second sibling: $310
    • Discount 2 week or more, second sibling: $300

In Guaikinima, Day Camp campers will do activities such as; Kayaking, Bow & Arrow, Sports, Swimming, Crafts, Snorkeling, Games.

Special Activities:

Climbing Wall: It will be once a week, for this activity the campers, in addition to their crocs or sandals; must come with sneakers and socks to carry out the activity. the days for each location are the following:

  • Tuesday: Oleta River Park
  • Wednesday: Historic Virginia Key Beach Park
  • Thursday: Davie (Broward)

Horseback Riding (ONLY IN DAVIE): On Thursdays we will have horse lessons. On that day, campers must also bring long trousers or leggings to do the activity.

  • Yellow camp T-shirt. This allows us to recognize our campers.
  • Bathing suit worn under clothes.
  • Sunscreen (the 1st application at home)
  • Bag/backpack with an extra change of clothes and towel.
  • Water Bottle or Cooler.
  • Cap
  • Snack and lunch.
    Note: everything must be identified with the camper’s name

The minimum number of days per week at the Day Camp is 3 days.
Steps to sign up for the 3-day option:
– Add the week you want in the system and complete the registration by making the deposit payment of $100 per camper
– Once the registration is complete, send an e-mail to info@campguaikinima.com indicating the days of the week you will attend
– You will receive a reply email with confirmation and balance to be paid

Yes, we can coordinate transportation from your home to the camp and vice versa with camp staff or people we trust. The cost per week is $75 per camper.
