Day Camp

Daily program of activities for children between 4 and 12 years oriented to entertain and be in contact with nature where the child can discover the natural scenario while learning new skills in addition to the values and philosophy of Guaikinima.

 
  • 3 available locations: Oleta River State Park, Historic Virginia Key Beach Park and Davie (Broward)
  • Activities very similar to the Sleepaway Camp program, adapted to the camper’s age and physical capacity.
  • It takes place in weekly blocks from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
  • Different logistics and transportation options for the best enjoyment and safety of children.

Facilities

Our Day Camp program takes place at three (3) locations in Florida. All of them with carefully chosen for their natural spaces, best enjoyment and absolutely safe. These are:

  • Oleta River State Park (see map)
  • Historic Virginia Key Beach Park (see map)
  • Broward (see map)

At Day Camp, children prepare to go to the 2- or 3-week summer camp program with overnight stay, (SleepAway). It is located in Fruitland Park FL (1 hour from the city of Orlando) and the experience is totally different ;)

Frequent Asked questions

  • Yellow camp T-shirt. This allows us to recognize our campers.
  • Bathing suit worn under clothes.
  • Sunscreen (the 1st application at home)
  • Bag/backpack with an extra change of clothes and towel.
  • Water Bottle or Cooler.
  • Cap
  • Snack and lunch.
    Note: everything must be identified with the camper’s name

Depending on your location at Doral, we have these two locations:

The minimum number of days per week at the Day Camp is 3 days.
Steps to sign up for the 3-day option:
– Add the week you want in the system and complete the registration by making the deposit payment of $100 per camper
– Once the registration is complete, send an e-mail to info@campguaikinima.com indicating the days of the week you will attend
– You will receive a reply email with confirmation and balance to be paid

9:00am: Drop off

9:30am: Group Organization

9:45am: Circle / Snacks

10:00am: Round of Activities

10:45am: Snack

11:00am: Round of Activities

12:00pm: Lunch

1:00pm: Round of Activities

1:45am: Snack

2:00pm: Round of Activities

3:15pm: Circle and Closing Songs

3:45pm: Pick Up

  • PRICES AND DATES:

    • Price per week Oleta and Virginia Key $420 + $8 Application Fee                                                         

      Price per week Davie $385 + $8 Application Fee

    • Dates: From June 10th to August 9th.
    • Extended care available per week, from 4pm. to 5:30pm. 
  • DISCOUNTS:
    • Brothers of registered campers Receive discounts!
    • The discount applies to the siblings of a registered camper
    • Discount per week, second sibling: $20
