Campfire Sleepover
At our Oleta Park and Virginia Key Park headquarters, we offer mountain bike activity once a week for older campers who already know how to ride bikes. And if anyone needs more practice we help them. Each camper is given a bicycle and helmet. They go out with the counselors on a tour within the same park biking along stretches surrounded by trees.

In both sleepaway and day camps, we give importance to the development of creativity, that campers discover that artistic vein that we all have. It is ideal for campers to enjoy a quiet moment, in the shade, to talk, express their creativity and create something to take home. Campers carry out different projects: dream catchers, bracelets, bookmakers, banners, photo frames, etc.

It’s a super fun activity that our campers really like, especially to cool off from the summer heat. It is a sturdy plastic surface where water runs on the sliding surface. The Slip ‘n Slide becomes very slippery, allowing children to jump on the plastic surface and slide.

Snorkeling takes place at our Oleta Park and Virginia Key Park camps, where we have the beach for campers to learn how to put on their masks and breathe through the tube that should be kept out of the water. The activity is carried out in shallow waters, ensuring that campers can hit bottom at any time. They can see underwater, the ecosystem, little fish, starfish, crabs, plants, etc. Always under the supervision of our counselors.

The climbing wall is an artificially constructed wall with hand and foot grips, in Guaikinima we use it to climb outdoors. The goal is to reach the top to touch the bell button; it is the most exciting time for children. This activity helps them tone the muscles in their legs and arms. Counselors assist in the safety of each camper and help them carry out the activity.
